When Hööks’ warehouse operations in Borås needed to be moved to Jula’s 3PL central warehouse in Skara, there was a significant need for both staffing and work management. Jula’s own personnel were already committed to daily operations in Skara, making it difficult to allocate internal resources for the relocation itself.
To carry out the move safely and efficiently, an external partner was needed – one that could not only provide the right number of people but also lead and coordinate the work on-site. Clear requirements and high demands
The move had to be completed within a very short time frame, from Thursday to Sunday. The warehouse had to be completely shut down during the relocation, which meant the operations were paused. Because of this, there was no room for delays, and every hour mattered.
“We had only Thursday to Sunday, so we had to plan exactly how long each step would take,” says Per Lund, DC Manager at Jula Retail Logistics.
It was crucial that the entire process ran smoothly from day one. A structured execution, flexible resource planning, and reliable staffing were all essential to the project's success.

Posti Staffing took full responsibility for both staffing and on-site leadership throughout the move. Each day, around 50 consultants were present, and a team leader from Posti ensured that the work ran efficiently in close collaboration with Jula’s team.
“Posti made sure the right people were in the right place at the right time. The collaboration worked from beginning to end,” says Therese Henriksson, Staffing Manager at Posti Staffing.
Therese herself was on-site in Borås the entire weekend and played a key role in keeping everything on track.
“Therese helped us resolve every situation that came up. We got more support than we expected,” adds Per.
Flexibility in practice
The project required quick adaptation. Staffing needs varied daily, and some phases demanded extra resources on short notice.
“What stood out was their agility. If we needed more people for a shift, they solved it immediately,” says Per.
When winter weather and canceled buses threatened to delay the start one morning, Posti acted right away.
“They sent out a car to pick up the consultants. That might not be standard, but it made a big difference,” notes Per.
Quick adaptation to new environments
Many consultants were working in the facility for the first time, but Posti’s team still managed to quickly establish an efficient workflow.
“Everyone was new – to us and to each other. Posti helped us quickly match the right person to the right task. That saved time and immediately improved quality,” says Per.
Despite the short duration, a good working atmosphere formed quickly.
“It was impressive to see everyone work toward the same goal – even the consultants who were only there for four days. That says something about their commitment,” adds Per.
Project completed on time
Sticking to the schedule was far from guaranteed. Four days meant an intense pace where every detail had to fall into place. For Jula, it was critical that the relocation didn’t disrupt other logistics.
“We finished on Sunday afternoon. It was intense, but looking back, it was really enjoyable,” says Per.
All goods arrived on time, and the move was completed without interruptions to the flow. The project became a clear example of what’s possible when everyone pulls in the same direction, with the right support at the right time.
