Finnish state-owned logistics company Posti Group has appointed Peter Ervasalo as CEO of its Swedish operations. Today, the company has 1,200 employees in Sweden with operations in Borås, Jönköping and Stockholm. Ervasalo will focus on strengthening Posti Group's growth and presence in Sweden and will also be part of the Group's management team.

Focus on growth and awareness in the Swedish market
Posti's operations in Sweden are currently conducted under the Aditro Logistics brand. Under Peter Ervasalo's leadership, the company will focus on growth in warehousing and logistics services, with the ambition to make Posti Group an even better known player in the Swedish market. Already today, the company has 1200 employees with eight warehouses in Sweden and one in Norway, with a total of almost 300,000 square meters of warehouse space.
Ervasalo has extensive experience in providing services to both corporate and consumer customers, combined with a keen business acumen and a proven track record of business success.
Posti Group has already established a strong position in warehousing and logistics services in Sweden. This recruitment will enable us to enter a new phase and accelerate Posti's growth in Sweden and further strengthen our position throughout the Nordic region.

Heavy industry experience - both in Sweden and internationally
Peter Ervasalo will take up his position at Posti Group on October 28 this year, as CEO of the Swedish operations and member of the Group's management team. He comes most recently from a role as CEO of DHL Express in Sweden, where he was also part of the European management team. He has almost 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, having worked at DHL in various roles since 2008 and previously held positions at TNT and UPS, among others.
We will intensify our efforts to increase growth throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions. We are committed to expanding Posti's presence and significance in the Swedish market, and under Ervasalo's leadership we have all the prerequisites for success in this work.
